Tomorrow night I'm going to my very first housewarming party... so excited! And by the way this is no normal party as we are CAMPING in my best friends new flat. She hasn't officially moving in yet and has nothing in it... not even a chair! What crazy ideas we have. So off to her flat it goes with sleeping bags and everything. I'll write about how that experience was later (probably after all the drink has left my body)
I decided to buy her towels because ... well everyone needs them. But they are just far too boring to just give like that. So I made a towel cake - it looks a bit like Cookie Monster in disguise =]. I bought 2 Bath towels and 2 Hand towels and rolled them up. You do need to stich them loosely to hold it all together, but the strings can be easiely removed later.
Also made some decorations for the cake (as a sort of pretend icing) in the shape of houses and a gift tag which I painted earlier. 
And ... Tah dah! I really hope she will like her present and not think its edible lol.xxx Susan
